Maurizio Borghi is Professor of Commercial Law and Co-Director of the NEXA Center for Internet and Society at University of Turin, Italy.
Before joining University of Turin, he was Professor of Law and Director of the Centre for Intellectual Property, Policy & Management (CIPPM) from May 2014-December 2021. Following Maurizio’s move to University in Turin in 2o22, he was appointed Visiting Professor at Bournemouth University in 2023.
His research interests focus on the intersection of law and technology, with emphasis on copyright law, data protection and the role of law in the information society.
