In celebrating 25 years of the Centre, Professor Ruth Towse embarked on a venture to capture CIPPM’s establishment and development through the years. The Anniversary Book which will continue to evolve with contributions, throughout 2025, is a celebration of the fellowship of academic life and a demonstration that intellectual discourse generates both ideas and results. Presented through the lens of past and present members, the chapters reflect the authors’ experience of their time at CIPPM, however long or short.
It also recounts how the Directors responded to contemporary issues over the years whilst navigating through various issues during the height of the Internet-era to more recent challenges presented by technologies such as AI.
Throughout its time, CIPPM has played a pivotal role in IP education and continues to do so today.
As we celebrate this milestone, we are grateful to those who have contributed to the Anniversary Book thus far and look forward to receiving more contributions in the coming months.
