Bahar Dagli is a PhD student under the supervision of Professor Dinusha Mendis and Professor Roger Brownsword. Bahar’s research explores the intersection of law, technology, and art. She focuses on the challenges to copyright issues as a result of new and emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, related to creators, and the creative industries.
Prior to joining Bournemouth University, she worked with production companies and advised on all aspects of Entertainment Law in London and Turkey, represented clients in the live theatre, television, and film industries. She also worked as a Copyright Assistant at Hammer Museum Los Angeles.
She holds master’s degree LLM in Entertainment and Media Law from the Southwestern Law School – Los Angeles (2017).
