New IP Lawyers presents an evening of discussion on Performers’ Rights with a key note speech from The Hon Mr Justice Arnold. The evening will continue with short papers on performers’ rights by the three competition winners. The evening will conclude with drinks and canapés accompanied by a performance from 1940s singing trio; The Belladonna Brigade.

The event is organised by CIPPM PhD Candidate, Hayleigh Bosher on behalf of New IP Lawyers.

18.25-18.45 – Questions and discussion chaired by Professor Ruth Towse (Professor of Economics of Creative Industries, CIPPM, Bournemouth University)

18.45-20.00 – Short paper presentations, feedback and discussion

20.00-20.10 – Closing remarks

20.10 – Drinks, nibbles and performance by The Belladona Brigade
