On 12 June 2015, CIPPM Co-Director, Dr. Dinusha Mendis presented at the European Communities Trade Mark Association 34th Annual Conference in Hamburg.

The Conference took place from 10-13 June 2015.  At the 2015 Conference, the ECTA organisers included a new copyright panel and invited Dr. Mendis to speak on the copyright implications of 3D printing.

Other speakers on the Copyright Panel included Dr. Santiago O’Conor (O’Conor & Power);  Dr. Laszio Berczes (Berczes Law Office, Hungary); Professor Ian Hargreaves (Professor of Digital Economy, Cardiff University UK); and Dr. Christian Freudenberg (Schomerus & Partner, Germany).
