Talya is a post-doctoral fellow at the Institute for Business Law, Faculty of Law, GÓ§ttingen University, Germany, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Andreas Wiebe, funded by Erasmus Mundus Action 2 scholarship for mobility, and a research fellow at the Haifa Center for Law & Technology (HCLT), Israel.
Her research interest entails measuring innovation using patent-based innovation indicators and the implications of an analysis of the indicators on patent law and innovation policy. Her doctoral thesis was concerned with the role of collaboration in the innovation process, through the case study of stem cell research in Israel, and aimed to provide empirical data using the analysis of patent-based innovation indicators. Her current research continues this line of thinking, implementing the methodology on the electric car industry in Germany.
