Shayan Bahadori

Shay is currently a Research Associate specialising in Applied Health Services Research and Diagnostic Technologies at Imperial College London. His educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering and a Master’s degree in Bionanotechnology.

His PhD, titled ‘The application of commercial wearable technology and smartphone rehabilitation applications for enhancing individuals’ level of activity after hip replacement surgery’, integrated a systematic review, a Patient and Public Involvement (PPI) study, and a mixed-methods feasibility study, and focused on wearables, gait analysis and smart rehabilitation interventions using commercial activity trackers.

Shay completed his PhD in 2023.
