Louise is currently a Research Nurse at Milton Keynes University Hospital.

Her PhD titled ‘YOUNG HIP. An exploration into young patients’ (<50 years) expectations following primary total hip arthroplasty: an interpretative phenomenological analysis study’ aimed to explore younger patients’ expectations when undergoing primary elective total hip replacement, by undertaking four studies (a systematic literature review, a Public and Patient Involvement (PPI) study, a bibliographic review, and a qualitative study.

Louise completed her PhD in 2024.
