Comments on time as Prof Middleton (ORI) Fellow:
Gained excellent clinical and operative experience in Primary, Complex THR, Revision, Periprosthetic THR and exposure to Robotic Hip Surgery. Expanded on my managerial experience playing an active role in running multicentre trials like G7, Master SL, Lead Investigator for TOPHIP study.
The fellowship has helped me in becoming an independent hip surgeon and lower limb arthroplasty surgeon. Prof Middleton has been a great role model to learn from not just surgical skills but life skills. Especially enjoyed being in ORI on Wednesdays and share the banter with colleagues and of course some serious research.
