Musculoskeletal Therapy Service Lead, University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust.
Chris is MSK therapy service lead at University Hospitals Dorset, providing operational leadership for MSK outpatients, hand therapy and pelvic health therapy. He has completed a previous digital fellowship with the NHS Dorset ICB and is currently a clinical fellow in artificial intelligence with NHS England.
He qualified as a physiotherapist in 2010 training at Kings College London and following this has worked for University Hospitals Dorset for 14 years, gaining experience across different clinical specialities and specialising in orthopaedics and MSK practice for the last 9 years. In 2023 he completed his PhD through the University of Southampton on orthopaedic rehabilitation.
Over recent years, Chris has used his digital and leadership skills to develop practice at University Hospitals Dorset, and this has helped him develop a keen interest in how digital technologies and solutions. He aims to continue to work to become a prominent leader in digital healthcare to help the NHS realise the benefits of digital in supporting both our patients and our workforce.
