Biography:

I obtained my Certificate of Completion of Training in Orthopaedics and Trauma in Greece in March 2009. I had my Board Qualification in April 2009. Since that year I worked as Locum Consultant in Trauma and Orthopaedics for 2 years, the first in a Busy District General Hospital and the second in a major Trauma Centre for Orthopaedics in Athens. In the meantime, I obtained my PhD degree in Orthopaedics. Since March 2012, I worked in the UK NHS as a Trauma Fellow (Senior Clinical Fellow Level) in Poole Hospital and as a Senior Clinical Hip Fellow focusing in primary and revision hip arthroplasty in Royal Bournemouth Hospital.  I completed a post of Senior Clinical Fellow Lower Limb at Ashford and St Peter’s NHS Foundation Trust and a Shoulder subspecialty post in Croydon University Hospital. I also completed a Clinical and Research Fellowship at the Villar-Bajwa Practice. This was a subspecialty training post in Joint Preservation and Reconstruction of Hip and Knee. I continued my career as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Homerton University Hospital, London UK and currently in the Greek NHS
