Professor Tom Wainwright speaking at the Combined 60th Anniversary Scientific Meeting and 17th HKIOF
Prof Tom Wainwright was an invited international speaker at the recent Combined 60th Anniversary Scientific Meeting and 17th Hong Kong International Orthopaedic Forum.
He was invited to deliver a plenary lecture on “Enhanced patient recovery after joint replacement surgery” on 27th November 2021 and in addition he also delivered three other lectures on:
- Enhanced recovery and perioperative rehabilitation for major spine surgery
- Exercise and rehabilitation protocol for patients with hip osteoarthritis
- Considerations and adaptations of enhanced recovery principles in geriatric fractures
Prof Wainwright commented, “It was a great honour to be invited to participate in the conference and share our research outcomes and clinical experience. I very much enjoyed the interactive sessions, and hope that in the future I can travel to Hong Kong and follow up on the excellent collaboration opportunities”.
