Professor Tom Wainwright
Prof Tom Wainwright was invited to deliver a plenary lecture on the 25th November 2021 at a recent conference in Manchester hosted by Orthopaedic Research UK and the British Society for Elbow and Shoulder Surgery.
At the “Improving outcomes for the shoulder and elbow” conference, Prof Wainwright shared his research and clinic experience of Enhanced Recovery and its application to shoulder arthroplasty.
Prof Wainwright commented, “It was great to attend my first conference in person since the start of the pandemic and I really enjoyed the opportunity to explore the application of enhanced recovery to shoulder surgery with a group of such knowledgeable and experienced orthopaedic surgeons.”
