Since July 2019, ORI has been busy recruiting patients having robotic total hip replacement surgery at the Nuffield Hospital, into an observational study to evaluate recovery following Mako-Robotic-Arm assisted total hip replacement.
Baseline assessments have now been carried out on over 20 patients, and we are aiming to recruit 100 patients as part of the study. The evaluations are carried out in our Dorset LEP funded clinic facility, and state of the art GRAIL gait lab and Primus RS muscle testing equipment.
