With the Erasmus+ mobility funding, I visited the IQS School of Management, Universitat Ramon Llull (Barcelona) from 11 to 13 April 2018. I delivered one research seminar to the marketing staff and several teaching seminars to year 1 and 4 marketing students within the School. The topic was on retail consumer journey and experience, representing one of my primary research domains.
The Erasmus+ mobility programme has enabled me to gain several professional and personal achievements. Professionally, it has given me with an invaluable opportunity to share my research knowledge in a European arena. Accordingly, it helped to expand my professional network outside the UK and planted the seed for future collaboration with like-minded academics at European institutions like IQS.

It enabled me to further develop my skill of teaching non-English-speaking students, and of using teaching technology like Padlet to engage them Personally, it has given me the opportunity to visit and experience the vibrant city of Barcelona (Spain), for example, visiting renowned places like Park Guell and Sagrada Familia, and some unique retail stores (e.g. Natura Casa) in Barcelona. I would highly recommend BU colleagues, and students, to partake in the Erasmus+ mobility programme.
