Teresa May began her official trip to China on Wednesday with a visit to Wuhan University, where she announced bilateral education initiatives with a value of £550m. The focus will be on school opportunities including teacher exchanges, information sharing on vocational education and the launch of a campaign to promote English proficiency in China.
