Today, UK voters woke up to the news that the UK will leave Europe. 
At 8am this morning, PM Cameron gave in his resignation in an emotional announcement saying the nation needs “fresh leadership”. Not long after, Sturgeon said to the press that she was proud of Scotland’s majority vote to Remain. She highlighted that the 2014 Scottish referendum results were dependent on the UK remaining in the EU, and that it is a statement of the obvious that there should be a second referendum.
