What a week for BU! On January 14th, we received the most fantastic news that for the first time we have been ranked in the Times Higher Education top 200 list of the most international universities in the world!
Anyone in the sector will know what an accolade this is. Phil Baty, Editor of the Times Higher Education Rankings neatly summed it up by commenting that: “An institution’s global outlook is one of the key markers of a prestigious university. The top institutions hire faculty from all over the world, attract students from a global market of top talent and collaborate with leading departments wherever they happen to be based.”
I am deeply proud to be working with such fantastic staff and students, across Faculties and Professional Services, who together embody what it means to be a Global BU.
