Universities UK has launched a new Social Mobility Advisory Group to advise government and universities on how to ‘improve access and long-term success for under-represented groups in higher education.’
Annual reports will be produced for Minister for Universities and Science Jo Johnson; any report recommendations will be considered by the Prime Minister. This group comes as a result of government’s 2020 vision to improve social mobility.
Membership of the Social Mobility Advisory Group will include:
