The Political Affairs in Higher Education Conference

The Political Affairs in Higher Education conference – organised by Universities UK and CASE Europe – is taking place today in Woburn House, London.  Running for the second year, the one-day event aims to explore the relationship between Higher Education and the current political environment.  The schedule includes a talk by Lord David Willetts advising the HE sector on how to get politicians’ attention; what MPs want; and whether, why and how the HE sector can influence the political landscape.  Hepi’s director, Nick Hillman, will also talk about the Green Paper, and Universities UK’s CEO Dandridge will discuss key issues for universities to consider in the current political climate.  There are a range of other talks and workshops from representatives of key organisations which will be of interest for anyone involved in HE, policy, public relations, campaigning and other political affairs.

Wonkhe is covering the event live, and there is also a significant amount of coverage at #PAHEF15.
