Hayleigh Bosher is Associate Dean and Reader in Intellectual Property Law at Brunel University. She is a regular blogger for IPKat. Previously, Hayleigh was a Senior Lecturer in IP Law at Coventry University and prior to that Entertainment Law Lecturer at NHTV University of Breda, the Netherlands.
She completed her PhD in copyright law at CIPPM Bournemouth University under the supervision of Professor Dinusha Mendis. Her thesis focused on digital copyright infringement by way of copying and communication to the public online and the application of law to the internet. Hayleigh is a recipient of BU Vice Chancellor’s PhD Studentship (2012-2016) and the LLB (Hons) Best Intellectual Property Student Award (2012). Hayleigh received a first class LLB law degree and is involved in a number of research projects at CIPPM, including Copyrightuser.org.
