What makes an exceptional athlete? Are people born with innate abilities which help them succeed or is sporting talent nurtured through practice and training? Join Professor Tim Rees as he explores nature verses nurture to learn more about what makes exceptional sporting performance possible.
Steve Cuss, Head of the AFC Bournemouth Community Sports Trust, will also be speaking as part of this event. Steve heads up AFC Bournemouth’s girls’ teams and the university teams and will be speaking on instilling high performance mentality in amateur teams to create winning results.
The talk will be followed by a screening of the Germany vs Mexico FIFA World Cup match, and includes a free food option.
