Behind the Scenes at the Lab: the science of being humans

BU has the one of the largest skeletal remains collections  in the south of the UK.  Through bringing the behind the scenes anthropology and faunal collections into the open lab, this event will show you up-to-date scientific research in the fields of anthropology and zoo archaeology.

There will be opportunities to learn about primates, how our skulls have evolved over history, and how to define the sex and age of a skeleton like they do in CSI!

This event is covered by the Festival for the Family day ticket.
