I really love this poem. It is emotional, inspiring and very well written. It seems as if Daisy’s life was skillfully compressed by the author to give the reader a rich history of her interesting life. And I can relate to the truth that for productive women, it seems that work never really ends.

Many good memories of my aunt and godmother Daisy, in Singapore, UK and Australia

I’ve loved reading about Daisy’s fascinating life, but this poem and ‘Mother of Pearls’ provides a window on who Daisy is. Beautiful.
