      Dear Mary
Lovely to hear from you. Hope you are all OK up there in Scotland. Glad you enjoyed the stories. Did you come to Shingleton Farm with me one time? I think we visited there one time with you….looking down from the top of the hill. I love to think about the good time we had with Joan. We were such great pals togther…always looking out for each other. And I esp remember cycling to school with her. She was in the middle and we twins were on the outside.
Di once fell off her bike ! Wasn’t serious but I remember it.
Hope you have a lovely summer holiday Mary. Hope Chris is well and looking after you.
      My love to every one

Ah this is so lovely to read and hear. And what fascinating photos – I hadn’t appreciated that Gran and Aunty Di, were a blonde and brunette. X
