If you are submitting your UCAS application soon and debating whether to select BU as one of your choices or maybe you’ve applied but don’t know for certain if you will select is as your insurance or firm choice here’s why as a location Bournemouth is second to no other!

Bournemouth is an extremely beautiful place, especially when the sun in shining. As you walk through the town and make your way through all the high street stops, you get to the lower Bournemouth Gardens. These gardens are a highlight of the Bournemouth town, with a small river running through and lots of colourful flowers in the Summer. Whereas in the Winter there they turn it into a Winter Wonderland, with lots of lights, a Christmas market, a iceskating rink and a grotto – where you can snuggle up with a glass of mulled wine.

When you walk through the gardens you make your way to Bournemouth beach, this is Bournemouth biggest attraction as it is rated the 3rd best beach in Europe. With an aquarium set right on the beach front you can’t really go wrong? Oceanarium is an amazing aquarium that doesn’t just have lots of underwater sea animals, but penguins as well. Visiting the beach and aquarium is always a highlight, not only that, next to the aquariums is an incredible restaurants called ‘Hot Rocks.’ They serve juicy burgers, delicious cocktails and much more.

On Bournemouth beach is a pier going into the sea, including many different activities such as a zip wire and an arcade.

In the Bournemouth Square there is a big Odean cinema that has only recently been re-done! It is a cinema that looks like the future, with bed-seats located at the front and many options of food and drink. Inside the Odean cinema building is many choices of different restaurants including, Five Guys, Frankie & Bennies, TGI Fridays, Chiquito, Pizza Express and many more.

Bournemouth has a lot of different things to offer in both the Winter and the Summertime! It is definitely a place to be all year round.
