Join us for BU\u2019s first Ideas Caf\u00e9 on Health and Tourism!"},"content":{"rendered":"<a href=\"http:\/\/microsites.bournemouth.ac.uk\/tourism\/files\/2012\/11\/bu_logo-286x3001.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-946\" src=\"http:\/\/microsites.bournemouth.ac.uk\/tourism\/files\/2012\/11\/bu_logo-286x3001.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"170\" height=\"190\" \/><\/a>\n<p>On 5<sup>th<\/sup> December from 12.00 until 14.00 at the EBC, Bournemouth University will be hosting its first Ideas Caf\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>The Ideas Caf\u00e9 is an interactive event aimed at increasing BU\u2019s engagement with the public and to provide a key networking opportunity.<\/p>\n<p>The first session is on Health and Tourism and aims to bring together colleagues with similar interest to promote interdisciplinary thinking in an engaging, informal and interesting way.<\/p>\n<p>You will hear several colleagues speak about Health and Tourism over lunch (which is provided) and you are invited to contribute your own thoughts. At the end of the presentations there is a chance to discuss the topic as a small group, ask questions to the presenters and engage in general debate.<\/p>\n<p>Dr Heather Hartwell will moderate the Ideas Caf\u00e9, titled \u2018Healthy Tourism an Oxymoron?\u2019 Presenters will include Prof Adele Ladkin from the School of Tourism, Dr Ann Hemingway from HSC and Mark Smith, the Director of Bournemouth Tourism, who will talk about the Coastal Project.<\/p>\n<p>Lunch will be provided, so come hungry and ready to network\/debate!<\/p>\n<p>EBC 7<sup>th <\/sup>Floor Sofa Area 12.00-14.00<\/p>\n<p>If you have an dietary requirements please email <a href=\"mailto:jhastingstaylor@bournemouth.ac.uk\">jhastingstaylor@bournemouth.ac.uk<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On 5th December from 12.00 until 14.00 at the EBC, Bournemouth University will be hosting its first Ideas Caf\u00e9.
