BU is hosting a Interdisciplinary Research HE Sector Day on 21st June 2016, dedicated to exploring the benefits and challenges of interdisciplinary research.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Funders\u2019 Perspective <\/strong>will be provided by three speakers:<\/p>\n

Charlotte Lester<\/strong>, as Policy Advisor at the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE)\u00a0will discuss her role where she manages\u00a0interdisciplinary research and public engagement with research policy<\/p>\n

Dan Licari<\/strong> (Innovate UK \/ KTN Creative, Digital & Design) will explore industry interactions<\/p>\n

Ben Sharman<\/strong> (EU NCP \u2013 Inclusive, innovative and reflective societies) will outlineEmbedding SSH across Horizon 2020<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Key Note address<\/a> \u2013 <\/strong>Dr. Louise Mansfield (Deputy Director of the Brunel Centre for Sport, Health and Wellbeing and member of the What Works Centre for Wellbeing research team)<\/p>\n
