SUBU will be expanding the One World Festival to consist of a week of events and activities and working with Reslife on these plans. Your VP Welfare will also be meeting with the university to look at how we can improve the language learning opportunities at BU.

Yes, the SUBU VP Welfare has been working with SUBU Advice to improve the website content so that people can be easily directed to any support systems that are available.
Yes – SUBU are working on providing support for placements to help students start their own businesses.
Yes – in 2016-17 SUBU created Lansdowne Fitness.
Yes – SUBU held Refreshers fair and it was the biggest and best we’ve had with opportunities for people try new things. We aim to continue this next year!
Yes – SUBU organised refreshers to have a community floor with housing advice such as Shelter coming in and giving advice on dodgy landlords.
Yes – SUBU arranged for Bournemouth water to come in and are in contact with Electricity (who is the number one customer service gas and electric provider) and Wessex water for future events.
