We are struggling with the extensive reading required on a weekly basis for this unit. Can anything be done about reducing it?

In response to the large amount of reading (both Modernism and Postmodernism, L5 and Postcolonial Texts, L6), we have redesigned the unit content to select shorter texts that illustrate key themes. These can be accessed and covered in a way that enables students to develop their understanding of critical concepts and ideas; and improve their critical and communication skills, without being bogged down in too much weekly reading for a single unit.‚Äč
