SUBU will be expanding the One World Festival to consist of a week of events and activities and working with Reslife on these plans. Your VP Welfare will also be meeting with the university to look at how we can improve the language learning opportunities at BU.
Your VP Welfare will be meeting with Careers and Employability to discuss how we can work collaboratively on more projects and will pass on this feedback.

Whilst there isn’t currently a designated area for Student Reps on Brightspace, there is a one-stop-shop in the form of a useful toolkit on the SUBU website– you can find it here: www.subu.org.uk/reptoolkit
Our current service provider doesn’t offer an app as part of their package but it’s a specification that we could investigate. Because the feedback in SimOn is assigned to one topic and subtopic, it can be distributed to the relevant areas in the Uni. Unfortunately, we can put the ‘genie back in the bottle’ on this one I’m afraid. A majority of transactions use cards in the shop, and these come with a charge from the card issuers. We are sorry to hear that some people did not enjoy our wraps. We do eat the same food and have found them to be good. The three bean wrap is amazing.
The student shop has a very competitive meal deal (2.49 and 3.29). This is pretty much as good as you will find anywhere. Our fizzy drinks are price checked against Tesco local so we know they are well priced. Our water is nearly half the price it is in the fusion building. You may be… Read more »
