For those of you who don’t know what a NUS card is (now named\u00a0TOTUM<\/a>) it’s the #1 student discount card which offers over\u00a0200\u00a0<\/strong>UK discounts. Plus, it comes with a 1-year free International Student Identity Card, therefore offering over 42,000 international discounts.<\/p>\n The card costs as little as \u00a312 for 1 year, \u00a322 for 2 years or if you\u2019re like me and love to save money when you can, only \u00a332 for 3 years! It\u2019s super easy to collect the card too, you just head on down to the Student Centre<\/a> on Talbot campus (known as the SUBU building), alternatively you can have it posted for a small additional charge.<\/p>\n Once you have your TOTUM card, you will then have access to the student discount on a huge range of products and services, some of my favourites include:<\/p>\n Ask Italian-<\/strong> 40% off your total food bill on Mondays and Tuesdays, and 25% off Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday. Ask is situated at Bh2<\/a> in Bournemouth so it\u2019s the perfect place to eat on a budget if you\u2019re planning to go to the beach or the cinema (Odeon offers 25% with a NUS card too!)<\/p>\n Dominos-<\/strong>25% off orders over \u00a325 online.<\/p>\n ASOS<\/strong>-10% off at ASOS (sometimes 20%, I would recommend subscribing to their emails).<\/p>\n Superdrug- <\/strong>With a health and beauty card you can get 10% off and collect Superdrug points along the way too.<\/p>\n National Express- <\/strong>As long as you book 3 days ahead of travel you can get 20% off! Great for when you\u2019re heading back home or fancy a day trip without having to break the bank.<\/p>\n And this is just to name a few!<\/p>\n What’s great about the NUS card is that it\u2019s not just about saving money, you become part of a community that is all about shaping the future of education and making a difference to the lives of students.
