Though I know most of you mainly chose BU because of Bournemouth beach (or at least that\u2019s one of the reasons I chose BU), there is so much more to be discovered in in Dorset! With its scenic views and lovely atmosphere, Dorset is one of the prettiest places to explore.<\/p>\n

Starting with the one that\u2019s closest, Poole, a place for a great day out and has one of the nicest harbors I have ever seen! With cute gift shops and wonderful restaurants, I\u2019ll be shocked if you don\u2019t want to visit. Poole is a bustling and fascinating place and particularly atmospheric on Bonfire Night with its fun fair, performers and GIGANTIC FIREWORKS, I MEAN HUGE.<\/p>\n\"2-small\"<\/a>\n

There\u2019s also the island of Studland, which isn\u2019t too far from Bournemouth. You can ride horses and stroll along the pleasant sandy beaches, as well as visit the quirky pubs and caf\u00e8.<\/strong><\/p>\n\"3-small\"<\/a>\n

Then there\u2019s everyone\u2019s favourite place Durdledoor, with its breathtaking views and hide-away caves, it\u2019s no wonder this has been told as the best place to explore. Though for the full experience you have to begin the walk at Lulworth Cove, a lovely Seaside Village where you can stroll across the coast while eating fish and chips. But keep in mind that you will need stamina, with over half a mile walk uphill and if you go on a hot sunny day, remember your bottle of water! The end result will satisfy you immensely.<\/p>\n\"1-small\"<\/a>\n

Finally, if you just fancy going somewhere nice to shop then Christchurch is that place. With its small town centre, it\u2019s not too big to get lost in but still a decent size to fall in love with, a place you can imagine growing old in. You can also step back in time and visit the wonderful historic site of Christchurch Castle, a Norman Castle ruin that overlooks the graceful River Avon.<\/p>\n\"4-small\"<\/a>\n

Wherever you go in Dorset, there will always be somewhere thrilling and exciting that you can visit, and really that\u2019s the beauty of this county.<\/p>\n
