\u201cMY Journey to BU has been awsome… because I know that Bournemouth University is the right place and this is the right time\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Awesome! That is the right word to describe my journey. But why? Why awesome? To answer that I need to put it into perspective.<\/p>\n

After finishing high-school I moved to London all by myself. I wanted to become independent. Working as a painter\/decorator was arguably one of the most important times due to the lessons I learned. Not because I enjoyed it, but because I didn\u2019t enjoy it at all. Sometimes knowing what you don\u2019t want is just as important as knowing what you want and for me these both came together at the same time.<\/p>\n

I understood that never ever in my life did I want a permanent job that involves less thinking and more sanding because that is what I really did for 6 months. Took sand paper and sanded down edges of doors until they were as smooth as silk. But what I wanted to do was to study, because I saw it as an option to develop myself and \u00a0as a chance of meeting like-minded people.<\/p>\n

But why BU? Well, there are many reasons but I think these two are just awesome. Location is just amazing! Sandy beaches just as in my hometown, Liepaja, took me by suprise and AFC Bournemouth. Football, my second love after my girlfriend. Studying and attending Premier League matches at the same time. Could this get any better?<\/p>\n

Quick fast forward to present time, here I am. Less than a week away from the biggest adventure in my life so far. It has been one hell of a journey but the right word, as I said before, is awesome. Awesome because I know that Bournemouth University is the right place and this is the right time. See you all soon!<\/p>\n\"kristaps\"<\/a>\n
