The sky is usually blue and it is sunny (even when it is freezing outside). The beautiful sky and wonderful beaches remind me of Brazil and make me feel at home.<\/p>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/microsites.bournemouth.ac.uk\/postgraduate\/files\/2016\/06\/Picture-1-small.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-4097\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-4097\" src=\"https:\/\/microsites.bournemouth.ac.uk\/postgraduate\/files\/2016\/06\/Picture-1-small.jpg\" alt=\"Picture-1-small\" width=\"800\" height=\"449\" \/><\/a>\n<p>Outside activities such as running on the beach and walking in the parks and meeting friends in Bournemouth Gardens emphasise this feeling of being back home.<\/p>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/microsites.bournemouth.ac.uk\/postgraduate\/files\/2016\/06\/Picture-2-small.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-4098\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-4098\" src=\"https:\/\/microsites.bournemouth.ac.uk\/postgraduate\/files\/2016\/06\/Picture-2-small.jpg\" alt=\"Picture-2-small\" width=\"800\" height=\"449\" \/><\/a>\n<p>Regarding food, it is possible to find in supermarkets here almost all ingredients we need to prepare Brazilian recipes such as <em>brigadeiro<\/em> (chocolate candy), <em>pudim<\/em> (pudding) and <em>caipirinha <\/em>(cocktail). In addition, there is a Brazilian store in Bournemouth town centre called Rio, which as well as being an internet caf\u00e9 also sells specific items such as <em>Guaran\u00e1<\/em> (soft drink), <em>pa\u00e7oca<\/em> (peanut candy) and <em>p\u00e3o de queijo<\/em> (baked cheese roll).<\/p>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/microsites.bournemouth.ac.uk\/postgraduate\/files\/2016\/06\/Picture-4-small.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-4100\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-4100\" src=\"https:\/\/microsites.bournemouth.ac.uk\/postgraduate\/files\/2016\/06\/Picture-4-small.jpg\" alt=\"Picture-4-small\" width=\"600\" height=\"800\" \/><\/a>\n<p>Furthermore, there is a Brazilian restaurant all you can eat buffet (rodizio) to eat grilled meats and <em>feijoada<\/em> (beans with beef and pork) it is called Casa Brasil and is just a short walk from Lansdowne Campus. However, as Bournemouth is a very multicultural city, I have made new friends from all over the world and most of them I have formed a close friendship with.
