Our self-apply form and Clearing helpline are now open. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bournemouth.ac.uk\/study\/undergraduate\/clearing\/guide-clearing\">Find out more<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>If you already have your grades and aren\u2019t holding an offer from a university, you can apply via Clearing now.<\/p>\n<p>If you have a conditional offer and things don\u2019t quite go to plan when you get your results, or you&#8217;ve changed your mind, you can enter Clearing. A-level results day is Thursday 13 August 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Clearing applications will be accepted until Monday 19 October 2026, with this being the last date to add your choices, and for universities to make their final decisions.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Can I use UCAS Clearing?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Clearing is for students who:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>haven\u2019t yet made an application<\/li>\n<li>were late applying for university (after 30 June)<\/li>\n<li>haven\u2019t received any offers (or none they\u2019re willing to accept)<\/li>\n<li>didn\u2019t meet the conditions of their offers<\/li>\n<li>declined their firm place.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/microsites.bournemouth.ac.uk\/student-blog\/files\/2025\/06\/Web-or-Social-image-UGP2026-Photoshoot-5.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-27646 size-medium alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/microsites.bournemouth.ac.uk\/student-blog\/files\/2025\/06\/Web-or-Social-image-UGP2026-Photoshoot-5-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/microsites.bournemouth.ac.uk\/student-blog\/files\/2025\/06\/Web-or-Social-image-UGP2026-Photoshoot-5-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/microsites.bournemouth.ac.uk\/student-blog\/files\/2025\/06\/Web-or-Social-image-UGP2026-Photoshoot-5-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/microsites.bournemouth.ac.uk\/student-blog\/files\/2025\/06\/Web-or-Social-image-UGP2026-Photoshoot-5.jpg 900w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>From 2 July, if you are holding a firm unconditional place, you can release yourself into Clearing, by using the \u2018Decline your place\u2019 button in your application.<\/p>\n<p>Your eligibility for Clearing will show up on your <a href=\"https:\/\/accounts.ucas.com\/account\/logi\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">UCAS Hub page<\/a> \u2013 your status says \u2018You are in Clearing\u2019 or \u2018Clearing has started\u2019. This will also be where you will find your Clearing Number (universities will need this so that they can access your application) and the \u2018Add a Clearing choice\u2019\u200b button.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How does Clearing work?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Trained advisers are on hand, manning university hotlines to guide you through the process.<\/p>\n<p>Once you\u2019ve received a Clearing offer you need to go to the \u2018Your choices\u2019 section of your application and click \u2018Add Clearing choice\u2019. Then enter the details of the course.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How do I apply to BU through Clearing?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We are now open for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bournemouth.ac.uk\/study\/undergraduate\/clearing\">Clearing 2026<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>BU is now open for Clearing 2026.
