\u00a0Status of application<\/strong><\/h3>\n

We know how anxious this time of year can be, so we try as best we can to respond to applicants within 2-3 weeks of receiving your application through from UCAS. If you submitted your application before the 15 January deadline, Universities have until 31 March to respond. Once you have been for an interview, it may take a little while for the admissions team to get back to you so we do ask you be as patient as you can. Some teams like to wait until all interviews have been conducted, whilst some will make offers in small batches. All the important deadlines can be accessed on the UCAS Website<\/a>\u00a0but you can be assured we will be in touch as soon as we can. If you\u2019re unsure, or would like an update, you are always more than welcome to contact us<\/a><\/p>\n

Changing courses<\/strong><\/p>\n

We can all be a little indecisive at times, if\u00a0you’ve\u00a0had a sudden change of heart and would like to swap your course choice, it may be possible. Just pop the programme administrator an email, you\u2019ll find their contact details on your offer letter, and they\u2019ll do their best to help. Please note however, that everyone is viewed individually and it is at the discretion of the admissions team. Many of our courses are delivered in frameworks, so being considered for something similar may be possible. If you feel that the course you applied for definitely\u00a0isn’t\u00a0for you, and want to try another subject instead, please make sure your personal statement is suitable. We don\u2019t normally encourage swapping applications unless you are completely sure, but please do give us a buzz so we can chat things through to see if it\u2019s the best choice and if it is possible.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Applying for Accommodation<\/strong><\/p>\n

Here at BU we ask that you apply for accommodation once you have received all your results and met the conditions of your offer. For many applicants this will be A Level results day in the summer. We are \u00a0<\/strong>proud to offer a guaranteed place in Halls of Residence or BU-managed* accommodation for all first year undergraduate students starting in 2013, if you accept BU as your first choice by 8 May, and complete your application by 5pm on the day after results day. You will have the opportunity to view accommodation at our Main Open days<\/a>\u00a0however if you are unable to make this, you may find our video tour<\/a> helpful when making your decision.<\/p>\n
