Now, while it might be tempting to hit that snooze button. No! I got to get to work.<\/p>\n<p>Once I&#8217;m showered and dressed (I&#8217;m officially known as the King of Jackets in the office!), it&#8217;s time to head over to the Mouse House, and what better way to travel than the Elizabeth Line! Commuting is hungry work, so when I get to the office it&#8217;s nice to pop down to the cafe to grab a Mickey Waffle!<\/p>\n<p>In my team, there are two interns, one of us works with UK productions, and the other works with all of our EMEA (Europe, Middle East &amp; Africa) Local Markets. I am the one working with our Local Markets.<\/p>\n<p><strong>During my day-to-day, you can find me:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"s10\"><span class=\"s7\">Participating<\/span><span class=\"s7\">\u00a0in EMEA Local Markets meetings, recording and circulating minutes, maintaining distribution lists in adherence to content security guidelines, and overseeing the distribution of critical post-production tracker reports and high-level reports for the VP of Production Management.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div id=\"attachment_24819\" style=\"width: 179px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><a href=\"https:\/\/microsites.bournemouth.ac.uk\/student-blog\/files\/2023\/09\/tempImagesIpb0r.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-24819\" class=\"wp-image-24819 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/microsites.bournemouth.ac.uk\/student-blog\/files\/2023\/09\/tempImagesIpb0r-169x300.jpg\" alt=\"A Micky Mouse shaped waffle with whipped cream for ears and chocolate sauce sits on a plate on a desk \" width=\"169\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/microsites.bournemouth.ac.uk\/student-blog\/files\/2023\/09\/tempImagesIpb0r-169x300.jpg 169w, https:\/\/microsites.bournemouth.ac.uk\/student-blog\/files\/2023\/09\/tempImagesIpb0r-576x1024.jpg 576w, https:\/\/microsites.bournemouth.ac.uk\/student-blog\/files\/2023\/09\/tempImagesIpb0r.jpg 675w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 169px) 100vw, 169px\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-24819\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">A Mickey Waffle!<\/p><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"s10\"><span class=\"s7\">Providing administrative support to the Disney+ Originals Scripted Production Management Team, encompassing leave tracking, calendar management, and meeting coordination, while delivering weekly summary reports.<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"s10\"><span class=\"s7\">Offering administrative assistance to <\/span><span class=\"s7\">my<\/span><span class=\"s7\"> line manager, which includes management of diaries, expense handling, and travel arrangement coordination.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>One of the best things about doing my placement year at Disney is the opportunity to explore and learn about various other departments.
