\"Michelle<\/a>The magic moment you get that email from UCAS track is one I\u2019ll never forget \u2013 you have an offer and it all starts to seem real. So firstly – congratulations from me!<\/p>\n

Here at BU they totally understand that not everyone can attend an Open Day during the autumn term, which is why we run Applicant Open Days \u2013 just for those already in receipt of a golden offer.<\/p>\n

You will receive information about this with your offer letter and you need to go online and book onto a day which is best for you. On the day you get to do all the things that you would get to do on a normal Open Day but now you can ask the tricky questions, normally ones that everyone else has asked you about and are things you didn\u2019t think to ask yourself!<\/p>\n

You will be welcomed onto campus and offered group talks about the course you have applied for, about the dreaded finance and more information about accommodation.<\/p>\n

We also have the Exhibition Hall, where you can you speak to the Students\u2019 Union about social events and possible work opportunities and askBU, the university enquiry service, who can answer any question you put to them (clever people). You can also have a chat with the academics from your course \u2013 and people like me who are doing the course and know what it\u2019s like from a student perspective (always handy!).\"6118\"<\/p>\n

We, the Student Ambassadors (we wear pink so you can\u2019t miss us), take you on a campus tour so you can check out the food hall, the gym, the coffee shop – not forgetting those all-important lecture theatres and some of the amazing specific facilities for your course.<\/p>\n

We know when you are made an offer in January or February you are already thinking about what life is going to be like here at BU in September, so it\u2019s all about keeping in contact, getting more information and realising that BU is the place for you!<\/p>\n
