I had heard many good things about Bournemouth University, but particularly regarding their Media<\/a> and Business<\/a> courses, which is why I chose to study here. I have also lived in Bournemouth my entire life, so it worked well for me.<\/p>\n

When returning from my placement with Bosch UK, I had a change of heart in the type of course I wanted to be on during my time at BU. I thoroughly enjoyed on-campus learning, but after researching online programmes and finding BU\u2019s BA (Hons) Global Business Management (Online)<\/a> course, I saw this as a more suitable route for me. Plus, with it being online this enabled me to work alongside and continue to apply what I learned from my course to every day working life!<\/p>\n

After the first few weeks of joining the course, I knew I\u2019d made the right decision. I joined group lectures when I wasn\u2019t at work, and when I was at work, the lectures and all the materials were uploaded to Brightspace, the university\u2019s virtual learning site, that same day. I really enjoyed the style of teaching on the online course as I engaged a lot more by watching the lectures and going through the material afterwards. There is a great deal of support from lecturers on this course, so I felt comfortable in contacting them if I had a query in relation to the studies.<\/p>\n

During my studies, my time management skills improved as I often found myself balancing my weekly learning, assignment progress, and work. Furthermore, the flexibility and self-management of this course helped in keeping all of this balanced. I also developed my creative thinking due to the types of assignments I completed and I feel they encouraged me to bring out my creative side and exceed my known capabilities.<\/p>\n

To anyone thinking of studying this online degree, all I would say is go for it. I found the content of this course thoroughly engaging and enjoyable and felt both the unit materials and assignments were very relevant to the course and wider topics.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
