This is celebrated with family and friends by applying colours to each other. In some parts of the country, it is more than just a celebration, it is the time for bonding with our near and dear ones. The main highlight of Holi is to forget all your vows for the time being and enjoy the current moment to the fullest in the myriad set of colours.

How Holi Was Celebrated In The University?

But when I heard about the Holi event being organized by the BU Indian Society on social media, I was quite excited to hear about it. I decided to go to the event which was taking place in the Talbot Campus garden.

I had a great time when the colours were applied to each other, music was played and there were sweets distributed to everyone who came to enjoy the festivities.

What actually caught my eye was that this festival was not just celebrated by the Indians, lots of UK and other international students joined in the celebration and had fun with everyone. This was an unexpected surprise. I saw the best of both worlds uniting together and enjoying every moment.

In this festive moment I was able to forget about the stresses of everyday life and rejoice in the special occasion. The best part about the event was awesome music which was played at the venue. The songs were mostly Bollywood ones which captured the excitement and madness of Holi.

I will never forget this day, it was will always be a special memory for me.
