So why not use your student status to get concessionary prices at cinemas and theatres?\u00a0 This is sure to give you some good evenings out, and may be cheaper (not to mention healthier) than a night out drinking!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Sign up with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.myunidays.com\/\">UNiDAYS<\/a>: like NUS Extra, UNiDAYS allows you to access additional discounts that you can\u2019t get with your student card. Better still, unlike NUS Extra, it\u2019s free to join. There\u2019s nothing to lose, so give it a try!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/microsites.bournemouth.ac.uk\/postgraduate\/files\/2016\/02\/Lauren-student-discount.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-3710\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3710\" src=\"https:\/\/microsites.bournemouth.ac.uk\/postgraduate\/files\/2016\/02\/Lauren-student-discount.jpg\" alt=\"Lauren-student-discount\" width=\"359\" height=\"237\" \/><\/a>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><em>My BU student card and 16-25 Railcard; two of my best friends when it comes to saving money!<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Get a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.16-25railcard.co.uk\/\">16-25 Railcard<\/a>: these cost \u00a330 for one year or \u00a370 for three years and give you 30% off eligible train journeys. Even if you\u2019re over 25, you may be eligible if you\u2019re studying full-time. \u00a0You can buy a 1-year card any time before you turn 26 or a 3-year card any time before you turn 24, so if you\u2019re clever with your timings you can get a lot of value out of it!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Don\u2019t be drawn in by offers you don\u2019t need: it\u2019s human nature to be attracted to money off and end up buying things we don\u2019t need.
