\t\t\t\t\"Yuchun-2\"<\/a>My name is Yuchun Liu, I am 25 years old and I come from Taiwan. I was\u00a0automatically awarded the Academic Excellence Scholarship, <\/a>which at the time was worth \u00a31,000 (it is now worth \u00a33,500 from 2016!) off my tuition. Since the scholarship was \u201cautomatic\u201d, it surprised me when I first read my tuition fee note and found that I had automatically received it!<\/p>\n

Bournemouth University was always my first choice for studying Tourism at Master\u2019s level, so when I began to undertake my research on BU scholarships through the internet I discovered this would be my main option. The PG Academic Excellence Scholarship is automatically awarded after BU receives the report card with the last academic year grade from new students. In other words, the scholarship all depended on my undergraduate course marks.<\/p>\n

In order to receive it, I worked hard to maintain my grade in the final year of my Bachelor\u2019s degree, and I was very glad my efforts paid off. For me, the scholarship is more than just a financial support to my family. It also makes me feel good that I made a little contribution to my parents, especially for their kindness of paying my living and education fees while abroad.<\/p>\n\"Yuchun\"<\/a>\n

Talking about the school life in BU, I will be honest and say that I have found the course to be difficult. Especially as my first degree in Taiwan was English Linguistics and Literature and now I am studying Tourism Management and Planning; it took me lots and lots of time to do the research and understand the concepts of this new subject. However, I am enjoying what I am doing! Especially in the second term, I\u2019ve learned so much about sustainable tourism planning and management from environmental, social and economic approaches. I can feel that I\u2019m gaining knowledge every time I attend a lecture, and I know there\u2019s much more out there waiting for me to dig out. Which makes things more exciting, and I can\u2019t wait to test my capability in my future career.<\/p>\n

During my stay in Bournemouth, my life has not just been about studying. I\u2019ve also participated as a Chinese conversation facilitator in the BU language centre, a volunteer in Dorset\u2019s Disability Charity, a member of the Postgraduate Development Award, a player for a social basketball team once a week, and the thing that one should never miss, is the social life with international friends after the lectures. With my good friends, we\u2019ve discovered all kinds of food and drink in Bournemouth town centre. And the time spent with them just makes studying abroad easier.<\/p>\n

\u6211\u7684\u540d\u5b57\u53eb\u5289\u5ba5\u5747\uff0c\u4eca\u5e7425\u6b72\uff0c\u4f86\u81ea\u53f0\u7063\u30022014\u5e74\u5165\u5b78\u6642\u7372\u5f97PG Academic Excellence \u734e\u5b78\u91d1\u3002\u56e0\u70ba\u9019\u7b46\u734e\u5b78\u91d1\u662fBournemouth University\u4f9d\u64da\u65b0\u751f\u5728\u5927\u5b78\u7684\u6821\u5167\u6210\u7e3e (\u5305\u542b\u6700\u5f8c\u4e00\u5b78\u5e74) \u800c\u81ea\u52d5\u9812\u767c\uff0c\u6240\u4ee5\u4e00\u958b\u59cb\u5728\u5165\u5b78\u901a\u77e5\u7684\u5b78\u8cbb\u4e0a\u767c\u73fe\u7372\u5f971000\u82f1\u938a (2014\u5e74\u8d77\u70ba3000\u82f1\u938a\uff01)\u7684\u5b78\u8cbb\u6e1b\u514d\u6642\u7d66\u4e86\u6211\u4e0d\u5c11\u9a5a\u559c\u3002<\/p>\n

Bournemouth University \u4e00\u76f4\u662f\u6211\u5728\u82f1\u570b\u5ff5\u89c0\u5149\u7814\u7a76\u6240\u7684\u7b2c\u4e00\u9078\u64c7\uff0c\u6240\u4ee5\u4e00\u958b\u59cb\u8abf\u67e5\u5b78\u6821\u8cc7\u6599\u6642\u4e5f\u627e\u4e86\u95dc\u65bc\u734e\u5b78\u91d1\u7684\u8cc7\u8a0a\u3002\u5728\u767c\u73fePG Academic Excellence\u734e\u5b78\u91d1\u662f\u6211\u552f\u4e00\u6709\u8cc7\u683c\u7533\u8acb\u7684\u734e\u5b78\u91d1\u5f8c\uff0c\u6211\u5f88\u52aa\u529b\u7dad\u6301\u81ea\u5df1\u5728\u5927\u5b78\u7684\u6210\u7e3e\uff0c\u4e5f\u5f88\u9ad8\u8208\u6211\u7684\u52aa\u529b\u6709\u4e86\u56de\u5831\u3002\u5c0d\u6211\u800c\u8a00\u9019\u7b46\u734e\u5b78\u91d1\u4e0d\u53ea\u662f\u5c0d\u5bb6\u88e1\u7d93\u6fdf\u4e0a\u7684\u652f\u63f4\uff0c\u4e5f\u4ee3\u8868\u81ea\u5df1\u5c0d\u5bb6\u88e1\u5fae\u8584\u7684\u8ca2\u737b\uff0c\u53ef\u4ee5\u591a\u5c11\u6e1b\u8f15\u7236\u6bcd\u7684\u8ca0\u64d4\uff0c\u5c24\u5176\u662f\u7576\u6211\u7684\u7236\u6bcd\u5728\u7d93\u6fdf\u4e0a\u7684\u7121\u511f\u652f\u63f4\u6211\u7684\u5b78\u696d\u6642\uff0c\u80fd\u76e1\u9019\u4e00\u9ede\u5fae\u8584\u4e4b\u529b\u8b93\u6211\u611f\u5230\u5f88\u958b\u5fc3\u3002<\/p>\n

\u804a\u5230\u5728BU\u7684\u8ab2\u696d\u751f\u6d3b\uff0c\u8001\u5be6\u8aaa\u5728\u9019\u88e1\u7684\u8ab2\u696d\u8b93\u6211\u611f\u5230\u5f88\u5403\u7dca\u3002\u5c24\u5176\u662f\u6211\u5728\u53f0\u7063\u7684\u5927\u5b78\u4e3b\u4fee\u662f\u5916\u570b\u8a9e\u6587\u5b78\u7cfb\uff0c\u8457\u91cd\u5728\u8a9e\u8a00\u5b78\u548c\u6587\u5b78\u65b9\u9762\uff0c\u6240\u4ee5\u4f86\u5230\u82f1\u570b\u5ff5\u89c0\u5149\u7cfb\u6642\uff0c\u8ab2\u5802\u5167\u6240\u6559\u7684\u5167\u5bb9\u548c\u77e5\u8b58\u90fd\u8207\u6211\u4ee5\u5f80\u6240\u5b78\u76f8\u5dee\u751a\u9060\uff0c\u5e7e\u4e4e\u662f\u5f9e\u982d\u958b\u59cb\u5b78\u8d77\uff0c\u6240\u4ee5\u6211\u82b1\u4e86\u5f88\u591a\u7684\u6642\u9593\u5728\u67e5\u8a62\u548c\u5b78\u7fd2\u89c0\u5149\u7522\u696d\u76f8\u95dc\u7684\u77e5\u8b58\u548c\u6982\u5ff5\u3002\u4f46\u5373\u4fbf\u5f88\u8f9b\u82e6\uff0c\u6211\u5c0d\u65bc\u6211\u73fe\u5728\u6240\u5b78\u7684\u5167\u5bb9\u537b\u76f8\u7576\u6a02\u5728\u5176\u4e2d!\u00a0 \u5c24\u5176\u662f\u5728\u7b2c\u4e8c\u5b78\u671f\u4e4b\u5f8c\uff0c\u6211\u5b78\u5230\u4e86\u5f88\u591a\u5982\u4f55\u5728\u7d93\u6fdf\u3001\u751f\u614b\u3001\u548c\u793e\u6703\u74b0\u5883\u65b9\u9762\u7684\u8003\u91cf\u4e4b\u4e0b\uff0c\u4f86\u6c38\u7e8c\u7d93\u71df\u548c\u898f\u756b\u89c0\u5149\u7522\u696d\u3002\u6bcf\u4e00\u5802\u8ab2\u7684\u8ab2\u7a0b\u5728\u7d50\u675f\u6642\u90fd\u8b93\u6211\u89ba\u5f97\u81ea\u5df1\u53c8\u5b78\u5230\u4e86\u65b0\u7684\u6771\u897f\uff0c\u4e5f\u4e86\u89e3\u81ea\u5df1\u9084\u6709\u591a\u5c11\u4e0d\u8db3\u4e4b\u8655\uff0c\u7a2e\u7a2e\u9019\u4e9b\u90fd\u8b93\u6211\u5c0d\u65bc\u81ea\u5df1\u672a\u4f86\u7684\u8077\u696d\u7522\u751f\u4e86\u8e8d\u8e8d\u6b32\u8a66\u7684\u60f3\u6cd5\uff0c\u5e0c\u671b\u80fd\u6709\u6a5f\u6703\u5c07\u81ea\u5df1\u6240\u5b78\u5be6\u8e10\u5728\u5de5\u4f5c\u4e4b\u4e2d\u3002<\/p>\n

\u7576\u7136\u5728\u5b78\u6821\u7684\u751f\u6d3b\u4e0d\u53ea\u662f\u5538\u66f8\u800c\u5df2\uff0c\u9019\u4e00\u5e74\u4e0b\u4f86\u6211\u4e5f\u53c3\u52a0\u4e86\u4e0d\u5c11\u6d3b\u52d5\uff0c\u5305\u542b\u5728BU \u8a9e\u8a00\u4e2d\u5fc3\u64d4\u4efb\u53e3\u8a9e\u6703\u8a71\u8001\u5e2b\uff0c\u5728Dorset\u2019s Disability Charity (\u591a\u8cfd\u7279\u50b7\u6b98\u6148\u5584) \u64d4\u4efb\u5fd7\u5de5\uff0c\u53c3\u52a0Postgraduate Development Award\uff08 \u7814\u7a76\u751f\u767c\u5c55\u734e\uff09\uff0c\u6bcf\u661f\u671f\u56fa\u5b9a\u5728\u5b78\u6821\u7684\u7c43\u7403\u793e\u6253\u7403\uff0c\u9084\u6709\u51fa\u570b\u5728\u5916\u6700\u4e0d\u80fd\u932f\u904e\u7684\u5c31\u662f\u548c\u5916\u570b\u670b\u53cb\u4e00\u8d77\u51fa\u53bb\u5403\u98ef\u559d\u9152\u73a9\u6a02\u3002\u6709\u4e86\u9019\u4e9b\u597d\u670b\u53cb\uff0c\u6316\u6398\u5e02\u4e2d\u5fc3\u7684\u9910\u5ef3\u548c\u9152\u5427\u8b8a\u6210\u4e00\u4ef6\u8da3\u4e8b\u548c\u6d88\u9063\uff0c\u4e5f\u56e0\u70ba\u6709\u4e86\u4ed6\u5011\uff0c\u5927\u5927\u6e1b\u8f15\u4e86\u6211\u4e00\u4eba\u5728\u570b\u5916\u5538\u66f8\u7684\u8f9b\u82e6\u3002\t\t<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
