All students must make a formal application through UCAS which stands for Universities and Colleges Admissions. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ucas.com\/undergraduate\/applying-university\/filling-your-ucas-undergraduate-application\">The UCAS website<\/a> has lots of helpful videos which take you step by step through what you need to do.<\/p>\n<p>What makes up an application?<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Course choices (you can choose up to five)<\/li>\n<li>Qualifications (you must enter all your qualifications from secondary education onwards)<\/li>\n<li>Employment history (if you&#8217;ve had any full-time of part-time paid jobs)<\/li>\n<li>Personal statement<\/li>\n<li>Reference<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Personal statement\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>What are universities looking for in a personal statement? Current student Jessica applied to study Forensic Sciences. Writing a personal statement wasn&#8217;t as bad as she thought it would be!
