Late applications<\/strong><\/p>\n

Didn\u2019t quite meet the 15 January deadline? Visit our webpages to see if the course you\u2019re interested in studying is accepting late applications, you might even find an alternative course that takes your fancy http:\/\/courses.bournemouth.ac.uk\/courses\/<\/a>. All applications need to be submitted through www.ucas.com<\/a> as soon as possible.<\/p>\n

Offer letters<\/strong><\/p>\n

Offer letters are starting to be sent out from our admissions teams\u2026 but are you a little confused?! Is there something you aren\u2019t sure about? The person who sent the letter will be personally handling your application, and will be happy to discuss anything if you need them to. We\u2019re nice, and we like to chat so don\u2019t be frightened to get in touch- their contact details are provided for a reason!<\/p>\n

When can I apply for accommodation?<\/b><\/p>\n

We are just finalising our new accommodation portal for Undergraduate students joining us in September 2014. This will be available in Spring 2014. We\u2019ll let you know first on our Facebook page www.facebook.com\/bu2014<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Swapping Courses<\/b><\/p>\n

We can all be a little indecisive at times, if you\u2019ve had a sudden change of heart and would like to swap your course choice, it may be possible. Just pop the programme administrator an email, you\u2019ll find their contact details on your offer letter, and they\u2019ll do their best to help. Please note however, that everyone is viewed individually and it is at the discretion of the admissions team. Many of our courses are delivered in frameworks, so being considered for something similar may be possible. If you feel that the course you applied for definitely isn\u2019t for you, and want to try another subject instead, please make sure your personal statement is suitable. We don\u2019t normally encourage swapping applications unless you are completely sure, but please do give us a buzz so we can chat things through to see if it\u2019s the best choice and if it is possible.<\/p>\n

How long do I have to wait before I get a decision?<\/strong><\/p>\n

We know the wait can be nail biting, so we will always aim to give you a decision as soon as we can, the process of going through applications can take a little time though. If you applied before the 15 January deadline, Universities should aim to notify you with a decision by the 31March, you then have until the 7 May to make a decision on your offers. It\u2019s worth having a look on the UCAS website as they have a really helpful page with important dates<\/a> to keep in mind, definitely consider putting a few of them in your diary!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
