group fitness

**New Spring Timetable

Our group fitness timetable offers over 50 classes a week to help you keep fit, healthy and active. With the wide variety of classes available there should be something to suit all tastes and fitness levels, at a time to suit you. Classes need to be pre-booked and can be accessed on a Pay As You Go basis or by using our all-inclusive SportBU Membership.

martial arts and dance

The Martial Arts & Dance programmes that we offer provide everyone with the chance to learn a new skill or improve a current one, in a fun and friendly environment. Our instructors and coaches have years of experience and many have competed at the highest level of their discipline, so the knowledge and training they can provide is second to none.

External classes

We have teamed up with a number of External Groups and Clubs to offer an incredible range of diverse activities, including: dance, climbing and jogging. As these classes are not managed by BU, please contact the clubs direct for bookings and current prices.


SportBU is proud to be an Approved Centre to deliver a range of Active IQ Fitness qualifications, designed to turn your passion for health and fitness into a long-term career. Additional CPD courses are available to further your knowledge, skills and to enhance your professional practice.
