Bournemouth University saw 31 teams compete in various categories across Wednesday and Saturday. As well as the student category, Bournemouth University were thrilled to host on behalf of Dorset FA for their Adult Female, Male Veterans and Walking Football categories.

The event was ran by SportBU’s Football Development Activator Chloe Tape who found the event to be a huge success:

“Both days were fantastic to run and great to see so many teams involved. The Walking Football was a true highlight with 16 teams playing in highly competitive matches.”

The winners of each event progress to the next round of the cup, competing against the winners across the region. For the student category winners, BU Girls and Caramel Mfrappe will be heading to Chichester University on the 21st March for the regional semi-finals.

Congratulations to all our community category winners who progress to the semi-finals in March:

  • Men’s Vets – Dad’s Army
  • Adult Women’s – Poole Town Ladies & Salisbury Whites
  • Walking Football – Dorchester Kixstart & Hampshire WFC
