This data has now been uploaded to Google Earth for you to enjoy.<\/p>\n<p>Google Under-the-Earth: Seeing Beneath Stonehenge was created at Bournemouth University by <a href=\"http:\/\/onlineservices.bournemouth.ac.uk\/AcademicStaff\/Profile.aspx?staff=kwelham\">Dr Kate Welham<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/onlineservices.bournemouth.ac.uk\/AcademicStaff\/Profile.aspx?staff=mdover\">Mark Dover<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/onlineservices.bournemouth.ac.uk\/AcademicStaff\/Profile.aspx?staff=hmanley\">Harry Manley<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/worlddiggersday.com\/Lawrence_Shaw\/\">Lawrence Shaw<\/a>.\u00a0 It is jointly directed by Dr Kate Welham and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.shef.ac.uk\/archaeology\/people\/parker.html\">Professor Mike Parker Pearson<\/a> at the University of Sheffield.<\/p>\n<p>It is envisaged that Google Under-the-Earth: Seeing-beneath-Stonehenge\u2019 could be the start of a new layer in Google Earth. Many of the world\u2019s great archaeological sites could be added, incorporating details of 150 year\u2019s worth of excavations and 20 years geophysical and remote sensing surveys.<\/p>\n<p>The project is funding through <a href=\"http:\/\/research.google.com\/university\/relations\/research_awards.html\">Google Research Awards<\/a>; a program aimed at facilitating interaction between Google and the academic world. It is part of their mission is to \u2018Organize the world&#8217;s information and make it universally accessible and useful.\u2019<\/p>\n<h2>Stonehenge Riverside Project<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bournemouth.ac.uk\/caah\/stonehenge-riverside-project\/index.html\">The Stonehenge Riverside Project<\/a> was a joint collaboration between Universities of <a href=\"http:\/\/home.bournemouth.ac.uk\/\">Bournemouth<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bris.ac.uk\/\">Bristol<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.manchester.ac.uk\/\"> Manchester<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.shef.ac.uk\/\">Sheffield<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ucl.ac.uk\/\"> UCL<\/a>.
