The “major review of higher education funding and student finance” announced by Teresa May at the Conservative Party Conference in October 2017 is expected to be confirmed as the “review of post-18 education and funding” by the Prime Minister on Monday. As part of the announcement it is expected that the terms of the review will be confirmed, as well as the naming of the panel and chair.
Early predictions suggest that the review will include English higher education tuition fee levels and student support, but there is already concern about how far the report will go to fully address these issues.
Sunday is likely to be a day full of press and media coverage on this matter as the government ramp up expectations in advance.
