Welcomed Dr. Sam Leah Harland as the new Head of Operations for our Global Engagement Hub. And what a fantastic champion she is for the Global Engagement Team we have started building. Lots of busyness preparing for a visit by our HEA Facilitator to shape our execution of the ‘Internationalisation of the Curriculum’. Fantastic meeting with lots of ideas. Shaping a Global Curriculum and Global Careers will become a driver for all we do going forward as a consequence. Can’t wait !
The month ended on a real high with @bournemouthuni playing host to the Deputy PM as one of the beneficiaries of the £12.6 m investment in our County.
The same day also saw our University Senior Management Team come together to shape our priorities for the next six months and celebrate all the hard work and successes from the previous term. The month also saw us welcome our January intake of students at the International Students Welcome Reception. It was a fantastic evening with a room full of hopefuls brimming with energy and enthusiasm, @globalbu was #BUProud.
